The Queen Death Grand Wood Beam Coffee Table is perfect for those seeking a sense of gothic, grandeur to their living space. Built by hand in our UK workshop using reclaimed materials. Each of the substantial beams have been carefully prepared, to retain the inherent character of the wood. This produces a sturdy base, shaped with finesse. Sat on 8 hand painted Queen Anne legs, the walnut stained base has then been brought to life with the allegorical portrait of Elizabeth I artwork on top which symbolizes her final years. The artwork has been etched on to the wood beam’s top surface to give off an overview perspective. To finish, the piece is then dressed with an array of high end materials which includes a radius glass top to give immense visual contrast to its overall appearance. The UV art-worked areas have been fully protected in a hard glaze lacquer to give maximum durability to their surface. Radius Cornered Glass Top Optional.

Artwork Information – The allegorical portrait of Queen Elizabeth I with Father Time and Death (c. 1610) is an oil painting by an unknown English artist from the 17th century, found at Corsham Court. It depicts an elderly, frail Elizabeth with two putti lifting the crown from her head, symbolizing her death and the end of her reign.
