The John The Baptist Wood Beam Glass Top Side Table is a truly stunning eclectic piece, built by hand in our UK workshop using reclaimed materials. Each of the substantial beams have been carefully prepared, to retain the inherent character of the wood. This produces a sturdy base, shaped with finesse.
Sat on gold hairpin legs, the the black ebony stained base has then been brought to life with the religious themed artwork of “John The Baptist Head” on a platter which has been etched on to the top and front surface to give off a two dimensional, overview perspective. To finish, the piece is then dressed with an array of high end materials which includes a radius glass top to give immense visual contrast to its overall appearance. The UV art-worked areas have been fully protected in a hard glaze lacquer to give maximum durability to their surface.
