The Regina Wood Beam Glass Top Side Table is a historical, unique piece, built by hand in our UK workshop using reclaimed materials. Each of the substantial beams have been carefully prepared, to retain the inherent character of the wood. This produces a sturdy base, shaped with finesse.
Sat on fluted beech legs with chamfered newels, the Jacobean stained base has then been brought to life with the gothic, yet symbolic Clopton portrait of Queen Elizabeth, (also known as Regina, meaning “Queen “ in Latin) which has been etched on to the top and side surface to give off a two dimensional overview perspective. The UV art-worked areas have been fully protected in a hard glaze lacquer to give maximum durability to their surface. A radius cornered glass top can be added for further protection if you require.
